Term 5 Narrative

This term opens with Book Week.  The children will be Writers creating setting descriptions based on The Viewer.  Following this, they will become Scientists and learn about Growing Up and Growing Old.  After this they dive in to becoming Historians, learning about why people left the UK during the Elizabethan Times.  This leads into becoming a Geographer finding out where The Tudor explorers travelled to.  They are back to being Historians exploring the lives of Indigenous American People and will then become Writers to tell the story of Pocohontas.  The trip to Leeds Castle allows the children to be Geographers comparing land use over time.  During the trip, they become Artists, creating a Tudor Rondel.  The final narrative of the term returns them to being Writers where they will write a diary entry set in the Tudor times.
