It is important to be able to reinforce classroom activities with outings to places of educational interest. We aim for every Year Group to participate in educational visits every year. All visits are assessed for risk and will only take place if they comply with all health and safety and safeguarding legislation and are approved by the Head of School.

Trips

In the past, we have visited Dover Castle, Leeds Castle, Maidstone Museum, Kent Life, Riverside Country Park and the Imperial War Museum to name just a few. Whenever such activities take place, parents are asked to make a voluntary contribution to the cost of travel and entrance fees. No child will be excluded from these activities on financial grounds.

Extra-Curricular Activities

We are grateful to staff who give up their own time to run a variety of extra-curricular activities. These will depend on the interests of staff and the extra time they can offer. In recent years, those children who attend sporting clubs have had the opportunity to represent the school at the Medway Mini Youth Games and our choir has also taken part in the Christmas carol service at Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre. Separate letters will be sent advising you about clubs run by school.

We are currently running Table Tennis, Tag Rugby and Computing club, and have previously run Basketball club this year. In the past have run clubs in a range of sports including: hockey, badminton, netball, cricket, football & athletics. We have also run clubs for non-sporting activities, including an Art Club.
